Overview
- Drafting and preparing monthly packs using BI Tools
- Cash flow management, forecasting and review reports from divisions
- Responsible for Inventory Management; Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Management
- Responsible for budgeting and forecasting and preparing budgets for board purposes.
- Overseeing finances and ensuring all reporting done in line with company policies.
- Preparing and submitting tax returns and VAT submission for all operations
- Implementation and standardization of financial controls across all operations and projects
- Liaising closely with all stakeholders to ensure their requirements are understood and met from a finance perspective.
- Ensuring and reviewing sales transactions on a monthly
- Planning and coordinating year-end financial audit.
- Reviewing VAT submission documents, reconciliation of GP reports to Omni, General ledger reconciliations.
- Preparing quarterly results and submitting quarterly pack, including quarterly forecasts, to Exco for board presentation purposes.
- Monitoring and managing banking expenses including bank charges, commitment fees, facility fees.
- Supporting and driving the business' core values and strategy especially in relation to trading
- Will be responsible for Risk Management and compliance
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (preferred)
- Completed Bachelor of Commerce Degree (non-negotiable)
- Articled – SAIPA / SAICA (non-negotiable)
- Must have minimum 5 years' experience in a management role
- Must have experience using systems such as CaseWare, Evolution, Syspro and SAP
- Must have experience in Manufacturing, Freight & logistics, Trading environment advantageous.
