Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Financial Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of accountants and clerks.
• Oversee the daily accounting process and finance team processing.
• Review monthly reconciliations and complete month‑end processes, including journal entries.
• Manage treasury functions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Conduct and manage annual audits and the preparation of financial statements.
• Perform financial analysis, develop financial and operational models, and support decision‑making.
• Drive process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS.
• Execute ad hoc projects as assigned by the Managing Director.

Requirements

• Matric (required) and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (required).
• SAIPA or CIMA qualification is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in financial analysis and reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
• Experience with SAGE and PASTEL partner solutions.
• Ability to develop financial and operational models.
• Strong organisational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self‑motivated learner who participates in new projects.
• Flair for numbers, collaborative, pro‑active, with a positive work attitude.
• Flexible and capable of working within a team.

Package & Remuneration

R35 000 – R45 000 per month.
