An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Field Technician to support and install advanced voice and data solutions. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies like Mitel and Yeastar PaBX systems, ensuring installations meet technical best practices and deadlines. The successful candidate will have a solid background in networking and VoIP systems, along with excellent communication skills to foster strong relationships with clients. Installation and support of Mitel (inc. Unify) & Yeastar PaBXs as well as voice and data solutions.
Keeping CRM tickets up to date – from initial assignment to completion of support request.
Working closely with the service/support desk to make sure appointments are managed and client expectations are met.
Ensure technical best practice is used for all products and services installations.
Ensure all installation deadlines are met.
Ensure adequate communication of risks, issues and progress to Projects and Operations.
Full documentation and handover to maintenance/call centre and accepting handover from presales for new clients.
Assist with product demonstrations and testing.
Client handover and training.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
SALARY:
• R25k – R30k; negotiable depending on experience
