A legal expenses insurance company is looking for a Field Sales Manager to lead a team in selling legal expenses insurance and funeral cover policies. Located in Ballito, the ideal candidate will manage Independent Contractors, drive sales growth, and ensure compliance with regulations. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Key purpose is to lead Independent Contractors in identifying optimal selling locations for high-quality sales of legal expenses insurance and funeral cover policies while ensuring adherence to TCF principles.
Key Responsibilities
MINIMUM CRITERIA AND PRE-REQUISITE COMPETENCIES
Education
Matric or equivalent qualification. Relevant Sales and/or Marketing Management qualifications will be an advantage
Experience
At least 3 years of sales experience in the insurance sector. At least 1 year as a Sales Manager, managing a team of Independent Contractors. A strong track record of working within the stop order market. Skilled in building trust with ICs and motivating them to meet targets. A completed FSB Regulatory exam will be an advantage
Personal Attributes
Honest, reliable, customer-focused, and good with people
Pre-requisite
Competencies
Analytical, detail-oriented, with strong negotiation, networking, leadership, and presentation skills.
Other
Must be willing to travel often. Applicants must relocate at their own cost. Have a valid driver’s license and a Public Driver’s Permit (PDP). Clear criminal record is essential.
