Fiduciary Associate – Dunkeld West, Johannesburg

A well-established financial services team is looking for an admitted attorney who is comfortable combining technical accuracy with a calm, people-focused approach. The work centres on Wills, estates and trusts, and supporting clients through important personal and financial decisions with clarity, empathy and professionalism.

Role

• Draft and review Wills, Living Wills, Letters of Wishes and related documents
• Support clients in meetings and help explain processes in a clear, steady manner
• Manage deceased estates from initial instruction through to finalisation
• Communicate with beneficiaries, executors, the Master’s Office and other stakeholders
• Prepare and review L&D Accounts, affidavits, receipts and transfer documents
• Assist with trust administration and general fiduciary tasks
• Contribute to improving systems, templates and processes

Requirements

• LLB and admitted attorney (South Africa)
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office; SharePoint an advantage
• Experience with estate administration software (LegalEase / LexisNexis preferred)
• Highly organised, detail-driven and able to manage multiple steps accurately
• Professional, steady communicator who can handle sensitive matters with care
