Role Overview
Our client is seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail‑oriented Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to senior management.
This role is critical to the smooth day‑to‑day functioning of the business and requires someone who can manage priorities, anticipate needs, handle sensitive information with discretion, and operate confidently in a fast‑paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Administrative Support
- Provide full administrative support to senior executives, including diary management, scheduling, and meeting coordination
- Prepare agendas, take accurate meeting minutes, and follow up on action items
- Manage correspondence, emails, and phone calls on behalf of executives
- Draft, format, and proofread professional documents, reports, and presentations
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Office & Operational Coordination
- Support daily office operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflows
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, travel arrangements, and logistics
- Act as a key point of contact between executives, internal teams, and external stakeholders
- Assist with onboarding documentation and general HR‑related administration where required
Organisation & Process Support
- Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems
- Track deadlines, priorities, and key deliverables
- Assist in improving administrative processes and systems where possible
- Support ad‑hoc projects and tasks as required by management
- Matric (tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Management, or a related field will be advantageous)
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or Senior Administrative role
- Strong computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and anticipate executive needs
