A local education authority seeks an experienced individual to support pupils with educational health care plans at a high school site. The role involves one-to-one support and team guidance on core skills and curriculum needs. Candidates should have experience in a school environment and the ability to assist teachers in planning activities. This fixed-term position offers 32.5 hours a week and is scheduled to start in February 2026.
Contract: Grade 6 term time plus 2 days
Fixed term 12 months to February 2027

We are looking for someone to actively encourage and support pupils with an educational health care plan (EHCP) to participate in the life and activities of the school and access the national curriculum to the best of their ability.
The role involves providing support and guidance on a one to one basis or to teams of pupils in their core skills and curriculum needs as per school policies/practices. You should be able to demonstrate experience of working with children in a school environment and have the ability to assist the teacher in planning class activities.
