For one of our clients, we are looking for a Dutch Gaming Support Agent, working remotely from South Africa or Suriname.

As a Gaming Support Agent, you will serve as the first point of contact for players, addressing inquiries related to account access, technical troubleshooting, and gameplay. You will collaborate with a team to resolve purchase-related and gaming issues, ensuring a seamless player experience. Staying updated on the latest game updates, releases, and branding, you will assist gamers in navigating challenges and enhancing their overall enjoyment. Training and mentorship will be provided to help you grow your skills in customer service and problem-solving within the gaming industry.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide timely and accurate solutions to players’ issues, including technical and gameplay-related concerns.
  • Utilize troubleshooting techniques to resolve account access or purchase discrepancies.
  • Stay informed on game updates, branding, and new releases to offer up-to-date support.
  • Work collaboratively within a team under the guidance of a Team Lead and Operations Manager.
  • Engage in continuous learning through training modules to enhance your expertise.
  • Proficiency in Dutch (C1 minimum) and English (B2 minimum).
  • A passion for video games, with hands-on experience on platforms such as PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, or a modern gaming PC/laptop.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace within your residence.
  • (Optional) Previous experience in a customer service environment.
  • Technical specifications for your workstation, including:
    • Minimum 10 Mb/s internet download and upload speed, with latency under 200ms internationally.
    • At least 8 GB of RAM.
    • A 64-bit version of Windows 10 or newer, or macOS 10.11 or newer.
    • An Intel Core i5-8260U or equivalent (8th Gen Intel or above; for Ryzen, 2nd Gen or above).
    • An AMD 7870 GPU or equivalent.
    • A smartphone for two-factor authentication (Android 8.0+ or iOS 15.0+).
  • Work remotely, eliminating commute time and travel expenses.
