Job Purpose
To deliver high‑quality Driver, Lifting, and Learnership training aligned with SafetyCloud's SHE standards and SAQA / SETA / NOSA requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Training Preparation and Delivery
- Plan, prepare, and deliver training sessions in line with approved curricula and materials.
- Ensure all training equipment is operational and ready prior to each session.
- Present material effectively, tailoring delivery to learners' existing skills, knowledge, and potential learning barriers (e.g., language or cultural differences).
Assessment and Moderation
- Facilitate training in compliance with SAQA / SETA / NOSA and QMS requirements.
- Conduct learner assessments and moderation in line with SETA / NOSA codes of conduct.
- Provide constructive and confidential feedback to learners.
- Complete all Portfolios of Evidence (PoE) accurately, maintaining security and confidentiality.
Administrative and Reporting Duties
- Maintain up‑to‑date student records, reports, and training documentation.
- Analyze training data and provide progress or completion reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with NOSA Quality Management Systems and internal processes.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement
- Foster strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Attend meetings and adhere to reporting and project deadlines.
- Assist clients with project details, resolving queries professionally and efficiently to ensure satisfaction.
- Promote and market additional NOSA training opportunities when appropriate.
Professional Development
- Engage in continuous professional learning through seminars, workshops, and relevant courses.
- Keep abreast of developments in SAQA / SETA / NOSA, Safety, Health, Environment, and ETD best practices.
- Ensure all assessor and moderator registrations remain valid and provide updated documentation to the Training Manager.
Qualifications
- Matric (advantageous but not mandatory)
- Experience: 2+ years Driver Training experience; 3+ years industry experience
- Accreditation: Valid TETA Facilitator and Assessor scope
- Skills & Knowledge: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Office proficiency; strong communication and interpersonal skills; time management and problem‑solving abilities; knowledge of QMS and training compliance
- Other: Valid Code 14 Driver's Licence with PRD, own reliable vehicle
