Responsibilities
- Achievement of a team environment that enables maximum productivity and profitability includes management of Human Resource Value chain.
- Effective management of safety, health, environment and quality risks.
- Discharge the duties of your legal appointment (2.6.1).
- Implement and manage quality control
- Manage and allocate functions of direct and indirect reports.
- Provide technical expertise on dragline repairs and rebuilds during services and shutdowns
- Take ownership of the dragline maintenance management for the area of appointment.
- Build and maintain customer relations
- Manage progress and timelines during dragline maintenance events.
- Manage WIP for area of responsibility.
- Prepare reports as and when required.
- Attend Site meetings, customer meetings and other relevant meetings as and when required.
- Provide technical support to customers.
- Assist with Scope of work planning for dragline services and shutdowns
- Assist with maintenance planning.

Qualification, Experience And Competencies
- Qualified artisan
- Minimum 10 years dragline experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Supervisory role
- Experienced in the management of dragline shutdown work
- Knowledge of Safety and MHSA requirements.
- Basic management qualification would be beneficial - SDP or MDP
- Knowledge of MS Projects and other MS Office programs, CRM, SAP will be an advantage
- Good communication (written, verbal and presentation) and effective negotiation skills
- Sound business and financial acumen and Knowledge
- Ability to work independently, under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Ability to show initiative by thinking creatively
- Medically fit and able to obtain a Certificate of Fitness
- Code EB drivers’ licence
