The Position

We’re looking for a hands‑on, agile Digital Advertising Specialist who will take full ownership of our digital ecosystem. In this position, you’ll be responsible for the end‑to‑end digital experience - including website management, SEO, analytics, digital campaigns, and optimising student journeys. You’ll sit within the Marketing team, working closely with the Marketing Manager, content, design and admissions teams to translate digital strategy into action.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimise our website (Umbraco, WordPress or similar CMS) to deliver an excellent user‑experience, strong conversion, and consistent brand voice.
  • Lead the SEO strategy: keyword planning, on‑page optimisation, technical SEO, monitoring ranking/traffic, and implementing improvements.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on website performance (traffic, engagement, conversion), using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and GTM.
  • Collaborate with marketing and digital agencies to execute digital campaigns (organic + paid) across search, display and social media.
  • Optimise landing pages, forms and other digital touchpoints for conversion and student engagement.
  • Work cross‑functionally with content and design to ensure digital assets (web pages, blogs, microsites) align with campaign and brand objectives.
  • Manage the digital tool‑stack (CRM integrations, tracking, automation) to ensure seamless digital student journey from awareness through to enrolment.
  • Stay current with digital marketing trends, tools and best practices (especially education‑tech, mobile/UX, SEO updates) and make recommendations for innovation.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to the Marketing Manager, highlighting successes, issues, recommendations, and next steps.
  • Manage, test, and troubleshoot third‑party scripts, tracking tags, and analytics integrations.
Education and Experience (Who are you)
  • An appropriate tertiary qualification in Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, Media Studies, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of solid experience in digital advertising, website management, or SEO roles (mid‑weight level).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and CMS platforms (WordPress or similar).
  • Hands‑on SEO experience including on‑page, technical SEO, keyword research, and conversion optimisation.
  • Experience running or supporting digital campaigns (paid or organic) and collaborating with marketing teams and external agencies.
  • Familiarity with interpreting digital analytics data to draw insights and implement improvements.
Experience in paid search or social advertising
  • Experience in paid search or social advertising
Bonus (not required but valued)
  • Experience in the education or e‑learning sector
  • Knowledge of marketing automation or CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
Behavioural Competencies
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple workflows and priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional teamwork (content, design, marketing, student services).
  • A self‑starter who thrives in remote environments, shows initiative, adapts quickly, and takes ownership of outcomes.
  • A mindset of continuous learning and improvement, aligned with innovation and agility.
Why You’ll Love This Role
  • Fully remote: Work from anywhere in South Africa, no commute and flexible hours.
  • Purpose‑driven: Contribute to meaningful education outcomes and help shape how people learn.
  • Impactful role: Your digital work will have real visibility and influence in a growing institution.
  • Supportive culture: Join an agile, creative, and collaborative marketing team that values continuous improvement.
  • Growth opportunities: As Milpark evolves, you’ll have the chance to expand your digital expertise, learn new tools, and grow your career.

If you’re ready to bring your digital expertise to an education brand with heart and ambition, we’d love to hear from you.
