Our purpose is simple yet powerful: To create and inspire memorable experiences. Our vision: To become Cape Town's most loved hotel. Our values - Teamwork, Respect, Innovation, Accountability, Passion, and Integrity - are at the heart of everything we do, and we recruit leaders who live and breathe them.

This role offers a rare chance to grow through our PVV (Purpose, Vision & Values) and LCF (Leadership Competency Framework) and to join a leadership team redefining service excellence, guest connection, and luxury hospitality in South Africa.

About the Hotel

Set between the vibrant pulse of Cape Town and the tranquil beauty of the Atlantic Ocean, The President Hotel in Bantry Bay is a landmark of South African hospitality.

With 349 stylish rooms, suites, and apartments, breathtaking ocean and mountain views, a palm-lined infinity pool, world-class restaurants, and state-of-the-art conferencing and event facilities, The President is the Mother City's most loved destination.

Our leaders are passionate, hands-on, and deeply invested in our team and our guests. We lead with authenticity and trust, and we take pride in our ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences while driving consistent year-on-year growth.

This is a hotel with heritage and a future defined by innovation, elevated service, and world-class hospitality.

  • Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management, forecasting, and profitability delivery.
  • Recognised as a strategic, entrepreneurial thinker, adaptable to evolving markets and guest expectations.
  • Experienced in leading large, diverse teams with authenticity, confidence, and emotional intelligence.
  • In‑depth understanding of the Cape Town and broader hospitality markets, with strong commercial insight and networks.
  • Exceptional relationship‑building, communication, and negotiation skills, with credibility among owners, investors, and high‑profile guests.
  • Must hold a valid South African ID (no work permits).

  • Partner with the General Manager in developing and executing strategic and commercial plans.
  • Drive financial performance through strong P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimisation.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire employees to foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and service excellence.
  • Champion guest experience initiatives, ensuring every touchpoint reflects luxury standards and creates memorable moments.
