Are you looking for a new challenge in a fast‑paced, innovative company? Amazon's South Africa team is seeking a Customer Experience Product Manager to join our team!

In this role, you will drive the strategy, development, and launch of customer‑focused products and features that improve the Amazon experience. Working closely with engineering, design, operations, and business teams, you'll manage product development of key features in our roadmap, drive critical business metrics, and define requirements for innovative technologies that delight our customers.

We are looking for a dynamic and talented Product Manager to partner with a creative group that sets a high bar for innovation and success in a fast‑paced and changing environment.

As a successful candidate, you will have experience managing complex businesses, solving technical challenges, and influencing key partner teams to drive initiatives to completion. You have a strong bias toward data‑driven decision making and an innate ability to understand how metrics relate to business problems and to each other. You are a product leader who can communicate priorities and work effectively with stakeholders across engineering, logistics, product management, legal, finance, and core retail businesses. You should be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity, be able to work across a wide cross‑section of stakeholders, and relish the idea of solving challenging problems. You will tackle novel situations every day and, given the size of this initiative,’ll have the opportunity to work with Amazon teams around the globe.

  • 3+ years of product management experience
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross‑functional teams in delivery of major new products or services
  • Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level
  • Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization
