Job summary

A large-scale manufacturing company located in Gqeberha seeks a Financial Manager with a BCom Accounting degree and at least 5 years of senior-level experience. You will be responsible for systems such as consolidating financial reports, managing finance and sales operations, and analyzing energy usage to ensure efficiency. This position requires advanced skills in MS Office and strong analytical capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5 years senior level accounting or financial management experience in a large-scale manufacturing environment.
• CA(SA) will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate monthly cost and production reports from divisional financial managers.
• Monitor expenses against budget and highlight over expenditure.
• Prepare consolidated monthly forecasts and rolling estimates.
• Manage the finance and sales of the company's GP operations.
• Produce weekly production KPI reports internally and for contract growers.
• Daily water/electricity usage and analysis report. Compare to other farms and NMMM readings/accounts.
• Report on all energy saving initiatives with third parties and confirm results.
• Prepare detailed costings for all CAPEX projects.

Job description

The ideal candidate must be in possession of a BCom Accounting degree,

with at least 5 years senior level accounting or financial management experience in a large-scale manufacturing environment. A CA(SA) will be advantageous.

Requirements:-

Consolidate monthly cost and production reports from divisional financial managers.

Volume/Price/Mix type comparisons for feed to be prepared monthly, comparing to both historical and budgeted information.

Prepare detailed costings for all CAPEX projects in conjunction with project & procurement
