Lead Our New OSHC Service as Coordinator!


Catholic Early EdCare is excited to launch a brand-new Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service at St Bonaventure's College, Flagstone , opening Term 1, for up to 60 children.


We're looking for a qualified and experienced educator to take the helm as Coordinator , leading a team of around five educators in providing before‑ and after‑school care.


This is a permanent, part‑time role of 35 hours per week, term‑time only.


While our purpose‑built OSHC facilities are being completed, the service will operate from a temporary onsite location within the school grounds.

Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee the daily operation of our Before and After School Care ensuring a safe and enriching environment.

  • Lead a dedicated team of educators, inspiring and supporting them to bring out their best.

  • Develop and implement innovative, play‑based programs that cater to our children's interests and needs.

  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the school community, fostering a sense of belonging.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of care and safety.


Job Requirements


  • Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.

  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma / Anaphylaxis.

  • Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.

  • Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.

  • Child Protection Training is required for this role.

  • Previous childcare service management experience.

  • Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).

  • Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
