As we continue our journey toward luxury, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-driven Commis Chef to join our professional culinary team. This role is ideal for a chef who takes pride in precision, consistency, and high standards within a luxury hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities
Section Operations & Food Quality
  • Take responsibility for daily preparation and service within your allocated section.
  • Deliver consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and flavour.
  • Prepare accurate mise en place and maintain control during busy service periods.
  • Ensure dishes leave the pass on time and to specification.
Planning, Organisation, Stock Control
  • Plan daily tasks to ensure efficient section workflow.
  • Communicate clearly with other kitchen sections and senior chefs.
  • Monitor stock levels, minimise waste, and ensure correct storage and rotation.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and workstations in excellent condition.
Hygiene & Food Safety
  • Uphold HACCP standards and all hotel food safety policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and disciplined work area at all times.
  • Ensure correct labelling, dating, and storage of ingredients.
  • Take ownership of cleanliness before, during, and after service.
Teamwork & Professional Conduct
  • Work collaboratively within the kitchen brigade.
  • Support and guide junior team members and trainees when required.
  • Lead by example with professionalism, discipline, and pride in your work.
  • Communicate effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Minimum Requirements
