Purpose of the Job:

To lead the legal and commercial function, manage risk, and support business growth and international expansion.

Required Qualifications:

1. LLB or legal qualification
2. Admission as an Attorney
3. Strong accounting or financial expertise (advantageous)
4. 5+ years post-qualification experience in commercial, corporate, or technology law
5. Experience advising boards, executives, and investors, in international environments

Technical Competencies & Experience:

1. Advise the CEO and executive team, support growth and risk management, and build the in-house legal function.
2. Draft, negotiate, and manage agreements; oversee corporate governance, shareholder matters, and legal due diligence.
3. Lead legal strategy on AI, data, and technology; ensure IP protection and compliance with data laws; embed legal compliance in product development.
4. Advise on contracts, pricing, revenue recognition, and financial risk; review budgets and support audits and regulatory reporting.
5. Identify and mitigate legal, regulatory, and financial risks; develop policies and frameworks; manage responses to regulatory issues or disputes.
