Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of civil engineering sections for tender technical documents related to PV and energy storage projects.
• Develop civil construction methodologies and technical proposals in line with South Africa standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate civil design, construction methods, and compliance documentation with local consultants.
• Participate in and lead tender clarifications, technical queries, and evaluation discussions with clients.
• Provide technical handover and guidance to local construction teams following contract award.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in renewable energy, power, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of South African civil construction standards and project management processes.
• Proficiency in English for technical documentation and professional communication.
• Professional registration recognized in South Africa (e.g., ECSA).

Preferred:

• Experience in PV, energy storage, substations, or transmission projects.
• Exposure to Eskom or IPP project development and execution.
• Valid South African work permit.
• Master’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related disciplines.
