Formulate and execute the organisation's Strategy.
Set strategic priorities and translate them into annual performance plans.
Incorporate research, policy, technology and business intelligence into strategic direction.
This executive role supports the Board, CEO and EXCO by driving organisational transformation through strategy development.
It will focus on developing strategies to diversify revenue streams through grants, donors, partnerships; leading PR strategies to elevate the organisation's profile; managing media relations to secure positive coverage; overseeing branding and external communications; spearheading stakeholder messaging; representing the organisation at industry events, public platforms; developing crisis communication strategies; monitoring media sentiment proactively; managing reputational risks; leading data analytics; driving process improvements; conducting or commissioning market research; identifying trends and opportunities; developing business cases, models, scenario forecasts; mentoring and developing high‑performing teams; fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability; ensuring regulatory, ethical and compliance reporting; building relationships with board members, donors, government partners, communities; and managing cross‑functional projects while defining scope, deliverables and maintaining positive relationships with clients, partners, media, and internal teams.
