Job summary

A leading retail organization in Cape Town is seeking a Change Lead to drive a strategic change initiative aimed at improving efficiencies. The ideal candidate will develop and implement change management strategies, deliver training, and ensure organizational readiness. Candidates should have a matric and relevant degree/diploma along with 2 to 3 years of project/change management experience. Strong communication and analytical skills, alongside experience in the retail industry, will be of added value.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years of proven work experience in Project and Change Management.
  • 5 to 10 years of solid experience in the retail industry across functions.
  • Knowledge of Prosci ADKAR Model is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Develop change management strategy for the strategic project.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of change initiatives.
  • Oversee technical activities and functional training.
  • Implement stakeholder engagement plans and materials.
  • Administer the change management process.

Position Description :

Change Management : Change Lead

Driving and leading a large strategic change initiative to improve efficiencies and meet the organisations strategic objectives. Ensuring organisational readiness through communication, training and coaching engagements so that the new system is embraced, adopted and effectively utilised.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and plan the change environment by developing a change management strategy for the strategic project
  • Manage the end –to-end delivery and implementation of change initiatives to support strategic project delivery
  • Oversee the technical activity and functional training portfolio by ensuring that appropriate standards are met and that the end user are successfully using the technology
  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement plans and engagement material
  • Responsible for all administration related to the change management process
  • Develop and analyse data and drive data visibility to stakeholders
  • Build capacity to assess and manage change
  • Build mechanisms to sustain the change
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and enhance process and approach based on the learning.
Requirements
  • A matric qualification
  • A related Degree / Diploma
  • At least 2 to 3 years of proven work experience in Project and Change Management
  • Solid experience of 5 to 10 years in the retail industry across functions will be advantageous
  • Change and impact analysis
  • Knowledge of Prosci ADKAR Model will be advantageous
