A respected multinational subsidiary based in Gauteng, Johannesburg is seeking a commercially astute CFO. This role involves driving financial strategy, managing stakeholder relationships, and mentoring a high-performing team. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in senior financial management and be qualified CA(SA).

Qualifications

  • 8 to 10 years experience in a senior financial management role.
  • At least 3 to 4 years at an executive or Board reporting level.
  • Background in subsidiary reporting or experience within a listed group environment.

Responsibilities

  • Driving financial strategy, governance, and compliance.
  • Leading financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and hedging practices.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships and overseeing HR, IT support.

Responsibilities
  • Driving financial strategy, governance, and compliance in line with company objectives
  • Leading financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and hedging practices
  • Managing stakeholder relationships, including direct Board engagement and reporting
  • Overseeing HR, IT, and other business support functions alongside finance
  • Building and mentoring a high-performing team while fostering a culture of excellence
Education
  • Qualified CA(SA)
Job Experience & Skills Required
  • 8 to 10 years experience in a senior financial management role
  • At least 3 to 4 years at an executive or Board reporting level
  • Background in subsidiary reporting or experience within a listed group environment
  • Strong management experience with oversight across multiple business functions
  • Technical knowledge of hedging, IFRS, tax, and compliance frameworks
  • Hyperion / HFM exposure highly advantageous
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
