About the Role

This position requires a Branch Manager to oversee and manage branch resources and procedures.

The key objectives are to ensure that contractual obligations to customers are met in a cost-effective manner, and company security procedures are applied across the branch.

The role involves continually reviewing and improving branch profitability and security.

Key Responsibilities Include :

Effective Management of Financial Performance Manage relationships between actual results, budgets, and forecasts, delegating accountability where appropriate. Manage the effective and efficient use of company assets, ensuring all assets are well-maintained, accounted for, and utilized correctly to optimize their lifespan. Succession Planning and Employment Equity Evaluate employee training on standard operating procedures and statutory requirements Monitor staff motivation levels and address them appropriately. Operational Effectiveness Review and deploy resources to improve profitability and customer service levels. Maintain customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and address any deficiencies. Risk Management and Compliance Ensure adherence to group and company standards on risk mitigation and control. Effectively manage business development function Identifying New Business Opportunities Assess market environment in terms of competitors and current customers Upsell products and services aligned with customer needs and risks. Health and Safety Participate in designing safety plans and implementing them effectively Report safety incidents and follow up on assigned activities through safety meetings or committees.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Matric Certificate

Three-year tertiary qualification (General Management recommended)

Previous experience in CIT and Cash Management is preferred

Minimum three to five years of management experience

Solid understanding of financial information (Profit and Loss Statement)

Proven Customer Relationship Management experience
