Job summary

A leading fast-food franchise is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their dynamic finance team. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports and producing management accounts. Candidates must have a tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting and at least 3 years of experience, preferably in the FMCG sector. Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 required.
• Must have minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
• Finance experience in FMCG, Fast Food or Retail sectors is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and interpreting financial reports.
• Producing management accounts from trial balance to income statement.
• Reviewing accounts payable and receivable records.
• Conducting inventory valuation and verifying count sheets.
• Compiling VAT schedules and ensuring tax compliance.
• Supporting audit processes and finalizing financial statements.
• Managing budgets and performing variance analysis.
• Implementing internal controls and standard operating procedures.
