Job summary

A dynamic catering service is looking for an individual in Durban who will report to the Catering Manager. This role involves efficiently executing daily capturing utilizing the Worksmart system and general admin duties including filing and typing. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of bookkeeping experience, strong communication skills, and fluency in Ms Office. Responsibilities

  • Accurately execute daily capturing utilizing the Worksmart system.
  • Perform general admin duties such as typing and filing.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly stock takes.
  • Assist with debtors and creditors tasks.
  • Be responsible for cash ups and banking.

Main Purpose Of The Job

Reporting to the Catering Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for Work smart processing as per set budget and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Education And Experience Required
  • Matric
  • Business Administration qualification is advantageous.
  • Must have at least 2 years bookkeeping experience
  • Customer relations experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working on WorkSmart

Key Areas Of Responsibilities

  • Capturing of stock-takes
  • Assisting with Debtors & Creditors
  • Spot checking of depot stock-takes if required.
  • Responsibility for cash ups and banking
  • Ordering of daily stock items
  • Understanding par levels and adhering to them
  • Data capturing
  • Assisting with monthly price changes
  • Assisting with monthly purchasing code changes
  • Processing of claims in a timeously fashion
  • Confirming prices with suppliers
