Overview

Hire Resolve’s client is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key responsibilities
  • Perform general office duties, such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence.
  • Access computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts.
  • Maintenance of Fixed Asset Registers.
  • Prepare purchase orders and expense reports.
  • Assistance with month end stock take.
  • Maintain inventory records – Reconciliation of Finished goods, Raw Materials and WIP, working with Stores Department.
  • Petty Cash Claims and reimbursements.
  • Assistance with Annual Audit.
Qualifications
  • Experience with ERP systems (Syspro).
  • Computer literate (Proficient in Microsoft Office).
  • 8 years’ experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
