Job summary

A leading agricultural firm in Atlantis, Western Cape is seeking a candidate for managing and developing blueberry farms. The ideal applicant will have extensive knowledge in farm management, especially in blueberries, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong technical skills in fertilization practices and irrigation, alongside good administrative abilities, are essential. This full-time position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to work well under pressure.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of management experience in blueberry farming.
• Strong technical knowledge in IPM fertilization practices and irrigation.
• Good administrative and computer skills, especially in MS Office (Excel).
• Emotionally intelligent, able to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop blueberry farms from the ground up.
• Motivate and work effectively with staff.
• Ensure proper maintenance and mechanical operations.

Atlantis Area Western Cape : This position requires a candidate with extensive knowledge managing and developing of Blueberry farms from the ground up.

Minimum Requirements

• Agricultural Diploma / Degree advantageous
• 5 years management experience preferably in blueberries
• Strong technical knowledge in IPM fertilization practices and irrigation
• Good administrative and computer skills (MS Office especially Excel)
• Emotionally intelligent performs well under pressure and adapts well to changing circumstances
• Maintenance and mechanically orientated
• Ability to motivate and work with staff
• Valid drivers license
