Job summary

A manufacturing company in Durban is seeking an experienced Laser Machine Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment operating laser machines, along with a Grade 12 education or equivalent. Strong computer skills in MS Office and bilingual proficiency in English and isi Zulu are essential. Responsibilities include inspecting laser machines, programming cutting operations, and maintaining safety standards in the workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing environments operating laser machines.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect laser machines and start them up.
• Take accurate tape shots.
• Program full sheet cutting and offcut programs.
• Load the second bed while the first bed is cutting.
• Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to Health and Safety procedures.
