Qualifications

Overview

We\'re looking for a hands-on Automation Technician to own our automated machinery and ensure optimal operation across all production systems. If you\'re an expert in PLC programming, diagnostics, and industrial machinery, this is your next great opportunity.

As our Automation Technician, you\'ll be the go-to expert for designing, programming, repairing, and maintaining automated systems. Your mission is to keep production running like clockwork — safe, smooth, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, test, and maintain automated machinery and PLC systems (Siemens, Delta, Allen Bradley)
  • Diagnose and resolve malfunctions with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic components
  • Troubleshoot issues quickly and creatively, ensuring minimal downtime
  • Interpret complex technical documentation, including schematics and blueprints
  • Monitor performance and implement preventative maintenance plans
  • Ensure systems remain up-to-date, safe, and compliant with industry regulations
  • Train operators and staff on best practices in system operation and maintenance
  • Develop and document repair strategies and system improvements
  • Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams on issues, fixes, and recommendations
Requirements
  • 3-5 years\' experience as an Automation Technician or in a similar industrial setting
  • Qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical certifications
  • Strong Mechanical & Electrical skills
  • Strong expertise in PLC programming and fault finding (especially Siemens, Delta, Allen Bradley)
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial automation systems
  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, electrical diagrams, and mechanical schematics
  • Familiarity with database management and automation-related mathematics (algebra, calculus, stats, etc.)
