Our client, an established auditing and accounting firm, located in Stellenbosch, is seeking an Audit Senior to join their team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have a related Bachelor’s Degree and completed Articles. Qualified CA/SA will be advantageous

Overview

This position will report directly to the Directors. You will be assisting the Audit Manager with audit planning, execution & review of audit and other engagement files. Training and development of staff, audit and other administration, client and director liaison, relationship development and self development.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with audit planning, execution and review of engagement files
  • Training and development of staff
  • Audit and other administration, client and director liaison, relationship development and self development
  • Client communication, maintenance and enhancement of client relationships
  • Review of engagement files
  • Management of client portfolio
  • Supervision of engagement teams
  • Assistance with first year trainees’ induction training
  • Conflict resolution
  • Addressing client queries
  • Assisting with drafting training activities for trainees
