The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Associate Sales Consultant to join our team in Cape Town. This is a critical "engine room" role focused on the front end of our sales cycle: transforming interest into opportunity.
Your Mission: Pipeline Velocity
Your primary focus is to identify, nurture, and convert leads into high-quality opportunities for our Senior Sales team.
- Outreach Excellence: Spend approximately 80% of your time engaging in outbound prospecting and lead follow up via telephone/Zoom, email, LinkedIn and other prospecting tools.
- Lead Management: Proactively follow up on Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and Qualified Sales Leads (QSLs).
- Conversion: Nurture these leads through strategic outreach until they become Qualified Sales Opportunities (QSOs).
- C-Suite Engagement: Confidently navigate "gatekeepers" to build rapport with C-Suite and Middle Management decision-makers.
- Rigorous Qualification: Systematically qualify the suitability of prospects for BlueBridge One solutions by utilising professional sales frameworks such as BANT, SPIN, or MEDPIC to ensure only high-potential leads advance in the funnel.
- Solution Alignment: Identify specific business pain points and map them to BlueBridge One’s offerings, ensuring that every Qualified Sales Opportunity (QSO) handed to Senior Sales Reps has a clearly defined need for our solutions.
- Target Driven: Work toward specific monthly QSO targets and KPIs related to activity volume and lead quality.
- Data Integrity: Maintain our database with high speed and accuracy to ensure seamless hand-offs to the Senior Sales team.
What You Bring to the Table
- Experience: At least two years of experience in a B2B sales or lead generation environment. Proven experience of generating and qualifying leads over the phone, email, LinkedIn and other Channels.
- Relevant Sector Experience: While not essential, previous experience or familiarity with ERP software (ideally NetSuite), SaaS platforms, or business technologies is highly desired.
- Communication: A high standard of written and spoken English, with the ability to connect with people quickly.
- Mindset: A "never give up" attitude and the perseverance to handle the high-activity nature of outbound sales.
- Business Acumen: An understanding that you aren't just selling software, but solving complex business problems to help companies grow.
- Precision: High attention to detail and accuracy in tracking lead progress.
