A leading food service company in South Africa is seeking a kitchen manager responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing food and labor costs, and ensuring compliance with health standards. The ideal candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification in food services or culinary arts along with at least 3 years of progressive kitchen management experience. Key responsibilities include menu planning, kitchen management, and understanding HACCP principles.
The successful incumbent will be responsible to assist with all food service-related activities which include managing daily operations of the kitchen area, implementation of the production process, managing food/labour costs, and an overall understanding of HACCP.
