A leading recruitment firm is seeking an Area Development Manager to cover the North West region in the transportation sector. The role involves acquiring new asset finance business and managing existing clients. Candidates should have experience in the asset finance sector or commercial vehicle sales, along with strong negotiation and communication skills.
Our client is one of the leading names in the UK SME asset finance sector. Due to continued success and growth they are looking to appoint an Area Development Manager to cover the North West region specifically focussing on the transportation sector.
You will identify, target and acquire new asset finance business, in addition to managing and developing your existing customers to maximise ongoing and repeat opportunities.
You will also negotiate, structure and package new business transactions for submission to the underwriting function, so good credit skill would be a distinct advantage.
Experience of the asset finance sector is preferred, along with an understanding or previous experience gained within the transportation funding arena. We may consider candidates who have experience of new business acquisition gained within commercial vehicle sales, who can demonstrate consistent success, good contacts and an understanding of finance products and sales processes.
You will be highly motivated, and target orientated, tenacious with good communication skills.
