About the job Applications and Business Systems Specialist

Contract position

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • 5 years of work experience in a professional business development role preferred
  • Knowledge of the latest technology and systems administration practices, including Microsoft Access, SQL Server, Oracle and Microsoft Exchange preferred
  • Experience in designing and developing web applications preferred
  • Experience with architecting and developing web applications
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC), Software testing, and project management concepts

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the existing application portfolio
  • You will work with a cross-functional team to ensure that each application has its own dedicated support, development and testing resources. In this role
  • Assist in making sure all systems are integrated together as one system, so that the whole company can benefit from using it efficiently.
  • Build awareness of application, infrastructure, and security usage through routine and proactive monitoring and measurement activities
  • Enforce compliance with infrastructure and software policies and standards
  • Monitor enterprise systems, networks and technology for operational weaknesses
  • Building the software architecture diagrams
  • Building the Company'sapplication library
  • Obtaining the licensing of various software's sorted
  • Facilitating incidents (between customer and 3rd party vendor)
