Africa Talent by Deloitte (Africa Talent) is a standalone division of Deloitte, owned by Deloitte Africa and Deloitte Netherlands, based in South Africa. Our goal is to meet the growing demand for Talent in Africa and Europe by recruiting and developing talent throughout Sub Saharan Africa to service the diverse needs of clients. Talent employed will have the full experience of Deloitte, with international and local exposure to a diverse set of clients, working remotely from Africa. The Africa Talent work readiness program is a performance enhancement program where young people engage with leadership through peer-to-peer conversations and experiential coaching to develop critical business skills. Graduates will develop skills such as business process design, time management, conflict resolution, emotional resilience, critical thinking and business solutioning to enhance future employability.
As a graduate in the program, you will be upskilled to serve clients with distinction to strengthen Deloitte’s brand. Our professionals handle complex situations and multiple responsibilities, balancing long-term projects with immediate operational demands. As part of this program you will gain experience through formal learning and exposure to client engagements.
As a graduate on the Africa Talent work readiness program, you will be exposed to global best practice in a multi-disciplinary environment. You can expect ongoing learning, training and development and six months of support as you commence your career. The CORE team provides technology assurance, internal controls and governance risk and controls solutions to clients across industries. You will work directly with engagement teams delivering solutions to clients, bringing your ideas, creativity and passion for excellence to make an impact that matters.

The program offers a six-month contract starting as an intern to learn about the role. In the first month you’ll learn about our organization and context. You will then join an intensive learning program to develop skills to serve on IT audit assignments for high-profile, international clients. During the six months you may interview with Deloitte member firms across Europe and Africa; depending on progress and performance, you may be extended and take on more responsibilities in future assignments. Permanent employment as a junior consultant will depend on performance during the contract.
