Job description

Freedom Stationery is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and detail-oriented Admin Clerk to support warehouse, receiving, and administrative operations at the Cornubia Factory. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating receiving activities, inventory administration, waste management processes, documentation control, and cross-departmental communication to ensure efficient factory operations and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and administer receiving of local and imported materials.
  • Verify deliveries against relevant documentation and ensure GRVs are processed timeously.
  • Conduct stock counts and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Liaise with transporters regarding delivery schedules and ETAs.
  • Communicate with Procurement regarding incoming materials and discrepancies.
  • Ensure stock is stacked according to stock codes, height restrictions, and safety regulations.
  • Generate, verify, and file all receiving, dispatch, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate waste collections, including invoicing, dispatch book completion, and service follow-ups.
  • Arrange and manage Oricol and Zee Paper collections in line with operational requirements.
  • Generate sales invoices, purchase orders, and gate passes as required.
  • Liaise with internal departments (Sales, Finance, Procurement, Production) to align operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OHS requirements, and safety standards.
  • Support and guide warehouse staff where required and assist with operational problem-solving.
Minimum Qualifications & Expérience:
  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a warehouse, dispatch, or receiving environment.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Syspro preferred).
  • Sound knowledge of receiving documentation and inventory control processes.
  • Understanding of transport regulations and OHS standards.
  • Experience supervising or leading a small team will be advantageous.
  • Forklift license will be an added advantage.
