Role Overview
  • Accounting Clerk: Accounting Clerk reports to Practitioner Financial Accounting and will be responsible for performing financial and clerical tasks to ensure accurate and timely recording of the Institution’s financial transactions by maintaining financial records, processing documentation and assisting with basic financial reporting.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A three (3) year tertiary qualification (NQF level 6) in Accounting/ Financial Management/ Cost and Management Accounting
  • A minimum of 12 Months functional experience in financial accounting
Skills Knowledge and Competencies
  • Knowledge of financial processes, procedures and control systems.
  • Basic knowledge of PFMA and Treasury regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and oral) skills, demonstrating outstanding ability to correspond with colleagues, internal and external customers.
