Qualifications

Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced, organised, proactive and mature SAICA / SAIPA professional to join the finance team of a B2B services company. You will provide comprehensive accounting support across four entities. This role offers variety, challenges, and the opportunity to be involved in every aspect of the accounting cycle, from daily processing to management reporting and audit preparation. This role is full-time in-office with micro flexible working hoursMonday to Friday 8am - 5pm or 7am - 4pm or 7h30am - 4h30pm.

Key Responsibilities

Debtors

Handle daily and monthly customer invoicing and reconciliation.

Prepare and distribute customer statements and maintain control lists.

Manage debt collection and ensure accurate and timely receipts.

Creditors

Capture, process, reconcile, and prepare supplier payments.

Banking

Process and reconcile bank transactions daily and at month-end.

Manage out-of-pocket expenses, reimbursements, and related reconciliation.

Finance Administration & Reporting

Maintain the fixed asset register and insurance schedules.

Assist in implementing improved processes and procedures.

Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, general ledger maintenance, and balance sheet reconciliation.

Assist with annual audit preparations and loan account reconciliation.

Payroll & Statutory Compliance

Support payroll processing and related administration.

Assist with SARS statutory returns — including VAT, EMP, PAYE, provisional and income tax, dividends tax, and workman’s compensation submissions.

Requirements
  • Grade 12
  • Degree in Accounting.
  • Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles.
  • 3 years’ post-articles experience, preferably from an accounting firm environment.
  • Proven exposure to full accounting functions and audit processes.
  • Proficient in Pastel Partner, Pastel Payroll, and Microsoft Office (Excel essential).
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping up to trial balance and statutory compliance.
