A leading accounting and advisory firm in Johannesburg is seeking an ACCA Audit & Accounts Trainee to join their Early Careers Programme. This role offers full support for your ACCA qualification, providing practical experience and professional development within a friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a B.Com Honours in Accounting or Finance and possess strong communication and collaboration skills. You’ll join a friendly, professional team where enthusiasm and curiosity matter just as much as experience. Based in our Johannesburg office, you'll support one of our UK businesses, working closely with UK teams and gaining hands‑on exposure to a range of clients; preparing accounts, supporting audits, and learning from real work from day one.
You’ll join a training contract, combining practical client experience with professional study towards your ACCA qualification.
As part of the Sumer Academy, our early careers development programme, you’ll join a group-wide trainee cohort from across our locations, training together through a blend of virtual, online and in-person learning focused on building both your technical skills and the soft skills that will help you thrive in your future career.
You should have a strong academic record and be on track to complete a B.Com Honours in Accounting or Finance.
