Hybrid Field Applications Engineer – Industrial Automation
Job summary
A leading industrial automation firm is seeking a Field Application Engineer for a hybrid role based in Novena, Singapore. This position involves supporting the pre-sales process, providing technical expertise, and conducting training on IDS products. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience. A solid understanding of industrial automation and communication protocols is required. Competitive salary up to $6,000 monthly offered.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in a Technical Sales and Applications Engineering role.
- Prior experience with control products in industries such as O&G, Power, Renewable Energies.
- Hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support the pre-sales process, including product demonstrations and presentations.
- Provide technical advice on system architecture for IDS portfolio.
- Conduct training sessions for distributors and partners on IDS products.
- Gather customer feedback to support product improvements.
- Collaborate with sales to identify new opportunities.
