We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Floor Tiler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of tiling duties, including surface preparation, tile installation, cutting, finishing, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Cut, shape, and install floor and wall tiles using power and hand tools.
• Fit tiles accurately around obstacles, corners, and irregular spaces.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and applying waterproofing, cement, mortar, plaster, or adhesives.
• Form tile beds using screeds, brushes, trowels, and other tools.
• Align and level tiles using straightedges, levels, and squares to ensure precise installation.
• Install, cut, polish, and finish granite and marble tiles.
• Create decorative wall and floor designs using mosaic and specialty tiles.
• Tap and secure tiles into position without causing cracks or damage.
• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and layout plans accurately.
• Measure and mark surfaces to determine layout and required materials.
• Maintain worksite cleanliness and adhere to safety standards.

• Proven experience as a Floor Tiler or similar role.
• Strong attention to detail, precision, and workmanship.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Good reasoning, problem-solving, and planning abilities.
• Able to work efficiently under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Physically fit for manual labour including lifting and standing for long periods.
• Knowledge of ceramic, porcelain, granite, marble, and mosaic tiles.
• Strong work ethic and responsibility.
