Teaching Duties:
·Teach English Literature and related subjects (36 periods/week).
·Deliver inquiry-based lessons aligned with IB MYP/DP frameworks and subject goals.
·Collaborate with Student Support to enrich learning and differentiate instruction based on student needs.
·Promote culturally and linguistically responsive teaching.
Non-Teaching Duties:
·Follow school policies and expectations.
·Participate in school events, field trips, meetings, and training outside regular hours.
·Supervise students during breaks and other non-classroom times.
·Lead or support a co-curricular activity (CCA).
·Provide class cover when needed and complete other assigned duties.
·Join school committees or improvement initiatives.
·Serve as a homeroom teacher if assigned.
·Build strong relationships with students and parents.
·Foster positive, collaborative relationships with colleagues.
·Represent the school positively in the wider community.
Requirements:
·Bachelor’s degree in English Literature.
·2–3 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
·Strong curriculum planning, teamwork, and communication skills.
·IB training or experience is an advantage.
