Software Developer (Java Spring Boot)
Job summary
A technology firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Java Developer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience, particularly with Spring Boot. The candidate will be responsible for developing applications, optimizing databases, and building RESTful APIs. A solid understanding of modern application architecture and collaboration with frontend technologies is essential. Proficiency in IntelliJ IDEA and Git is also required, along with deployment experience on Apache Tomcat.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Java development, particularly with Spring Boot.
- Strong foundation in database design and SQL usage.
- Experience with building and optimizing RESTful APIs.
Responsibilities
- Develop applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design, optimize, and troubleshoot relational databases.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs for the application.
Skills
We are looking for Java Developers with 3–5 years of hands‑on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development skills and a solid understanding of modern application architecture.
- Develop applications using Java (Spring Boot)
- Design, optimize, and troubleshoot relational databases (SQL, table structures, indexing)
- Build RESTful APIs
- Collaborate with frontend developers and work with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
- Deploy and manage applications on Apache Tomcat
- 3–5 years of Java (Spring Boot) development experience
- Experience in Java microservices
- Strong foundation in database design and SQL
- Experience with RESTful API development
- Working knowledge of frontend technologies
- Experience with Tomcat deployments
- Proficiency in IntelliJ IDEA and Git
