Resident Engineer
Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Resident Engineer with a Civil and Structural Engineering degree and minimum 5 years experience. The role involves supervising a major building construction and deep excavation projects, requiring strong leadership skills. Candidates must be accredited by the relevant engineering bodies in Singapore. Flexibility is required as the position may require shift work.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Civil & Structural Engineer.
- At least 5 years in supervising works on similar projects.
- Accredited by the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Lead the C&S site staff to monitor and inspect works.
- Exhibit strong leadership qualities and organizational abilities.
Skills
Education
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Civil & Structural Engineer, with at least 5 years in supervising works on projects of similar size and complexity, particularly major building construction and deep excavation works.
Must possess a Civil and Structural Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
Accredited by the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore.
- Lead the C&S site staff to monitor, supervise, and inspect works as directed by CAG, QP(S), QP(Geo), project consultants.
- Exhibit strong leadership qualities, organizational abilities, and interpersonal skills.
- Be conversant with statutory codes and site supervision requirements, quality control procedures, construction administration, and submission of progress reports.
