Job summary
A manufacturing firm in Singapore seeks a qualified individual to lead a team of mechanical engineers. Responsibilities include project oversight from planning to execution, managing resources, and improving processes. Candidates should possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have at least 5 years of relevant experience in gas systems and semiconductor manufacturing. On-site work at Changi North Crescent is required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in gas box, gas panel build, and system integration.
- Familiar with semiconductor equipment manufacturing processes.
- Willing to work on-site.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers and designers.
- Set clear goals and priorities to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Oversee multiple projects from planning to execution.

Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers and designers, providing mentorship, guidance and performance feedback.
Set clear goals, priorities and expectations to ensure alignment with project and organizational objectives.
Oversee multiple projects from planning to execution, including resource allocation and timeline management.
Lead the design and development of mechanical systems, assemblies, and fixtures.
Review and approve design concepts, detailed drawings, and technical specifications.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring new products from concept to production.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of design specifications, drawings and project records.
Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains in design and development.
Performing any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in gas box, gas panel build and system integration.
Familiar with semiconductor equipment manufacturing processes.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Willing to work on-site at Changi North Crescent.
