Job summary
A leading deployment management firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced individual to oversee PayCube terminal deployment projects. With over 8 years in field operations management, including work in payment terminals, the candidate will lead junior staff, manage vendor relationships, and ensure technical compliance. The role demands strong leadership, analytical skills, and a proven track record in large-scale hardware deployment projects. This position promises significant impact within the company's operations.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in field operations management, including 3+ years in payment terminal/POS deployment.
- Proven success managing large-scale hardware deployment projects.
- Strong knowledge of PCI-DSS and payment security standards.
- Proficient in payment terminal hardware/software configurations.
- Familiarity with Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and cellular connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end PayCube terminal deployment projects.
- Lead and mentor junior deployment staff.
- Act as the escalation point for complex hardware and software issues.
- Serve as the primary contact for enterprise merchant deployments.
- Analyze deployment metrics and prepare reports.

1. Strategic Deployment Management
- Oversee end-to-end PayCube terminal deployment projects, from planning through execution.
- Develop and implement standardized installation protocols, SLAs, and KPIs.
- Optimize deployment workflows to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
2. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor junior deployment staff on installation protocols and troubleshooting.
- Design and deliver training programs to upskill the team on PayCube systems and emerging technologies.
- Establish performance metrics and conduct regular evaluations to ensure team effectiveness.
3. Technical Governance
- Act as the escalation point for complex hardware and software issues.
- Ensure all deployments comply with PCI-DSS and internal security standards.
- Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to provide actionable field feedback for product improvements.
4. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Serve as the primary contact for enterprise merchant deployments and key accounts.
- Manage relationships with logistics partners, vendors, and third-party contractors.
- Work cross-functionally with Business & Enterprise, Customer Experience, Product, and Technology teams.
5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze deployment metrics (success rates, turnaround times, issue trends).
- Prepare executive-level reports on deployment progress and challenges.
- Drive initiatives to enhance service quality and reduce operational costs.
- Experience: 8+ years in field operations management, including 3+ years in payment terminal/POS deployment.
- Track Record: Proven success in managing large-scale hardware deployment projects.
- Compliance: Strong knowledge of PCI-DSS and payment security standards.
