Job summary

A financial services firm in Singapore is seeking an Operations Assistant for a 12-month contract. The role involves trade processing, reconciliation, and data management. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with VBA/PowerAutomate as a plus. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to daily operations and support the GFMO team.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Proficiency in VBA/PowerAutomate is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the daily processing and reconciliation of transactions related to Cash Equities and Vanilla Options.
  • Support accurate data entry, validation, and maintenance across various internal systems.
  • Identify and elevate discrepancies or issues to senior team members.
  • Assist in generating reports related to trade activity, positions, and settlements.
  • Maintain proper documentation of processes and transactions.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the GFMO team.

Operations Assistant

Working Hours: Mon-Fri, office hours (by default 9-6)

Location: Jurong East

Duration: 12 months contract (renew/convert based on performance/business needs)

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Trade Processing and Reconciliation: Assist with the daily processing and reconciliation of transactions related to Cash Equities, Vanilla Options, Funds, and Crypto ETFs.
  2. Data Management: Support accurate data entry, validation, and maintenance across various internal systems.
  3. Issue Resolution: Identify and elevate discrepancies or issues to senior team members for resolution.
  4. Reporting: Assist in generating reports related to trade activity, positions, and settlements.
  5. Documentation: Maintain proper documentation of processes and transactions.
  6. Support Functions: Provide general administrative and operational support to the GFMO team as required.
