Job summary
A construction management firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to manage pre and post contract activities in construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project, purchase, and finance teams for project costing, as well as update databases and handle contract claims. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, with at least two years of experience in the field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required.
- Ability to liaise with project, purchase and finance teams.
- Strong capability to handle project budgeting and contract claims.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for pre & post contract activities in Construction projects.
- Liaise with project, purchase and finance team for project costing.
- Update and verify project and production database.
Skills
Education
- Responsible for pre & post contract activities in Construction projects
- Liaise with project, purchase and finance team to provide monthly project costing and revenue
- Responsible to update and verify project and production database
- Involve in project budgeting, specification, contract claim and settlement of final statement
- Monthly progress claim and payment certification
- Ensure documents are in line with Company SOP standard
- Other QS duties as assigned
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Good numeracy management skill
- Meticulous, analytical with strong problem-solving skills
- Good team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision
