Job summary
A design firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced individual for a role in interior design. The position requires a degree in Interior Design with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and managing project execution while engaging various stakeholders. Strong communication, planning skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience in interior design.
- Experience in retail shop design and layout preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Ensure drawings comply with authority requirements.
- Manage project planning, implementation, and completion.
- Conduct technical meetings with clients and contractors.
Skills
Education
- Degree in Interior Design or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
- Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and manage various stakeholders.
- Resourceful and has excellent planning and time management skills.
- Proactive and detail oriented.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
- Required to go on-site occasionally.
- Experience in retail shop design and layout is highly preferred.
- Ensures drawings comply to authorities requirements.
- Controls and manages issuances of changes and documents to ensure consistent quality.
- Contribute to the Organization operational and management system.
- Responsible for the overall planning, implementation and completion of projects within specified cost, time and quality.
- Always maintains compliance with the relevant regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Plays an active role in contributing to the organisation’s continuous improvement initiatives.
- To conduct technical meetings with the Client, Consultants and Contractor for on-site issues and progress.
