1. Planning, directing, managing, and evaluating all daily nursing operational activities.
2. Shift timings include 7am to 4pm, 8am to 5pm, and 12.30pm to 9.30pm.
3. Perform basic nursing care activities independently and evaluate nursing care by monitoring and recording observations and vital signs.
4. Coordinate and manage care for rehabilitation and sub-acute patients.
5. Assist doctors during clinical procedures, examinations, and assessments of patients.
6. Collaborate with the Senior Nurse Manager/Director of Nursing to develop plans that promote full participation and innovative approaches within the department.
7. Assess the psycho-social status of patients and their families/caregivers to determine appropriate care plans.
8. Conduct home visits to investigate social, familial, and financial circumstances of patients and families.
9. Assist in Medifund review applications and escort patients as needed.
