A prominent Oil & Energy firm in Singapore seeks a Construction Engineer to lead construction activities on Jurong Island. This role requires at least 7 years of experience in onshore project construction, preferably in the refinery or petrochemical sector. You will ensure all operations comply with HSSE standards and collaborate with various stakeholders. A diploma or degree in engineering is essential, along with strong leadership attributes and risk management expertise. This position demands commitment and the ability to work independently.
Our major Oil & Energy Downstream Client is looking for a Construction Engineer who will lead and execute construction activities within Jurong Island to achieve sustainable, top quartile (TQ) delivery in HSSE, quality, cost, and schedule. You will collaborate with others (including EPCs/EPCMs) for planning and scheduling.
You will ensure all construction activities comply with regulatory and company HSSE standards and requirements.
You will demonstrate and role model positive Leadership attributes; personal integrity and authenticity, inspire & aspire, collaborative, commercial mindset and deliver extraordinary business outcomes.
Moreover, you will contribute to Project development and execution through active participation in required studies (E.g., Risk identification and Management, HAZOP, 3D design reviews, Constructability studies, contracting strategy workshops) and providing construction input early in the project phases. You will identify and manage interfaces through regular engagement with stakeholders, including external entities (E.g., Government regulatory agencies).
